MasterProtect 7801 AS:
Chemically resistant and antistatic liner system based on polysulfide membrane MasterProtect 1870/ 1880 / 1881 from Master Builders Solutions for use in secondary containment and areas for the storage, filling, and handling of potentially water-polluting substances.
The system comprises:
- Primer, (see membrane datasheet or system build-up to select primer according to the considered substrate).
- Polypropylene-based fleece fixed to the substrate using a polysulfide adhesive.
- 2 Component Polysulfide-based, chemically resistant coating applied in two layers with different identification colors.
- A self-adhesive copper tape as grounding system.
- 2 Component Polysulfide-based, antistatic chemical resistant coating.
The protection system will show evidence of fulfilling the following characteristics:
Capillary water absorption (EN 1062-3): ≤ 0,1 kg/m² · h0.5
Water vapor permeability (Sd H2O, EN ISO 7783-1,2): ≤ 5 m (Class I)
Permeability to carbon dioxide (Sd CO2; EN 1062-6): > 50 m
Crack bridging (EN 1062-7 A Static): > A5 (23ºC)
Artificial Weathering (EN 1062-11): Pass
Resistance to severe chemical attack (EN 13529): Reduction in hardness of less than 50%, Class I (7 days with pressure): No defects for Groups 1, 5, 5a, 7, 7a, 9, 10, 11, 12
Chemical resistance acc. Federal Water Act (Wasserhaushaltsgesetz, WHG); Media groups acc. to DIBt respectively EN 13529
- Class L2; 72 hours maximum contact: Valid for groups: 1a, 4, 4a, 5a, 8a, 9a, Gasoline Super E10.
- Class LAU2; 7 days maximum contact: Valid for groups: 3b, 4c, 7, 7b, 9, 9a, 10, 11, 13, 14
