MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® cladding is a solid bamboo slat, made from compressed bamboo strips. Through a special process, heat/compression treatment provides Bamboo X-treme® with the highest durability class according to European standards. This treatment increases stability, density, and therefore hardness. It is therefore suitable for very demanding applications.
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth and an abundant building material. Almost all MOSO® bamboo products have a negative carbon footprint over the entire life cycle and are therefore the environmentally friendly alternative to non-renewable materials and scarce tropical woods.
MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® Siding Boards are made from fast-growing Moso Bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource that not only grows very fast (up to 1 meter per day!) but does not cause deforestation because the plant does not die once the canes have been harvested. Like all wood species, Bamboo X-treme® will gray over time after being exposed to the outdoors. A beautiful natural look will appear, providing an elegant appearance.

• MOSO® Bamboo N-durance stability is achieved by crushing and compressing strips of bamboo.
• Established procedures and production phases to achieve the required MOSO® Bamboo N-durance quality: – Strip crushing – more intensive than for other bamboo products – Pressing cycle and increased density
• Without any heat treatment, MOSO® Bamboo Ndurance can reach a same level of durability thanks to: – a new more intensive strip crushing process – additional densification of the material to +/- 1,200 kg/m3
• The lifespan of outdoor area products is guaranteed
• MOSO® Bamboo N-durance can achieve a level of resistance to fungi equal to that of Moso Bamboo X-treme thanks to the use of a surface antifungal treatment.
• Periodic upkeep is required to ensure resistance to surface fungi.
