Metfiber ECO HF Wall
More than five decades ago Metecno-group established a new way of building with the automated and continuous production of insulated wall and roof panels with external steel sheets. The big success of these panels led to a quickly increasing demand and a fast expansion within but also outside of Europe. In 1998, the German subsidiary, originally part of a joint-venture with DLW AG in Bietigheim-Bi... voir plusssingen was fully integrated into the Metecno-group.
In 1994, a modern production facility was established in Thuringia. Thanks to the ongoing investment in new technologies, this facility represents the most up-to-date technology within the field of sandwich panel production. In 2016, a second product line was put into operation at this plant, resulting in a striking increase of production capacities and also in a massive reduction of lead and delivery times. Due to the increasing requirements for thermal insulation and fire resistance as well as for cost-effective construction, the sandwich elements have become a vital part of the building sector. Various types of profile geometry and a vast choice of available colours make architecturally sophisticated solutions possible.
An extensive range of accessories such as edge profiles, pilaster strips as well as filler blocks and sealing tapes complement our product range, making deliveries of complete packages possible. Our panels are commonly used for industrial, commercial and agricultural building as well as for the building of sports facilities. Special products with highly specific structural-physical requirements are mostly applied for acoustic construction or technical insulation. Our most important export markets are the Benelux countries, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Besides our constantly high quality of products, especially our excellent customer service makes Metecno stand out on the German market. A highly motivated team led by experienced specialists ensure an ideal customer support on every level. This results in a high rate of regular customers representing our focus on continuity and partnership at eye level.

The Metfiber® Eco HF Wall panel with glass wool core and joint-geometry for hidden fixing fulfils all the requirements for non-combustible building materials and is excellently suited for both vertical and horizontal installation. The glass wool used in this product consists of 80% recycled material, thus contributing significantly to the saving of natural resources and making the product an ecological building material.
The deadweight of the panel is distinctly lower than that of conventional sandwich panels with rock wool insulation core, hence enabling an easier, faster installation and cost reduction, especially for longer panels.
For buildings exposed to high wind-suction a horizontal single-span installation is recommended, so possibly needed visible fixing-screws may be covered by pilaster profiles.
Due to the large number of combinations with other panels from our portfolio with polyurethane or rock wool insulation core, it is possible to reach fire-safety, acoustic and thermal requirements at once without any visual impact.
