Nitrogen oxides NOx emitted by car traffic and manufacturing are a growing form of air pollution and contribute to the greenhouse effect and climate change.
The treatment applied to the slate gives them depolluting and cleansing effects. Thanks to the photocatalytic activity - under the combined action of solar rays and titanium dioxide (TiO2) - the oxidation-reduction absorbs and decomposes the NOx organic molecules.
This effect does not change over time.
